FAQ
Key information for clubs and organizers looking for regatta management software, regatta results, and sailing ranking tools.
Create a RegattaIQ account and request Regatta Admin access. Once approved, the regatta CMS appears in your panel, where you can create an event and configure the venue, classes, dates, registration, payments, and public page content.
Yes. Results can be entered manually by sail number, with validation against registered boats, or imported from a scan or photo of a results sheet, including handwritten sheets and finish times. RegattaIQ calculates standings from the scoring rules, number of races, discards, and statuses such as DNS, DNF, DSQ, or RDG.
Yes. After results are published, rankings can be updated from approved regattas and classes. Ranking classes can use an approval workflow so the class administrator controls which events count toward the ranking.
Organizers define entry fees and optional services, then update payment status manually after cash or bank-transfer payment. Payment reports help during check-in by showing outstanding amounts and which entries are already paid.
A ranking is created by a RegattaIQ site administrator after you request it. Once the ranking exists, classes can be assigned to it, approved regattas can be published, and standings can be updated from results.
For online registration, at least one crew member needs an account. If both sailors have accounts, each can edit their own data and they can create a team for faster registration in future events. For on-site registration, organizers can add sailors without accounts; if they create accounts later, their starts can be linked to their profiles.
Yes. RegattaIQ provides widgets for embedding regatta lists, regatta results, and sailing rankings on a club, class, or organizer website. You can use RegattaIQ as regatta management software while showing public data inside your own site.
For organizers
From registration to results and rankings, keep one clear workflow for sailors, clubs, and organizers.
